Tiny Door #5Wesley
This tiny door is named after brothers John and Charles Wesley who co-founded the Methodist movement in the Church of England.
About the Location
The Wesleyan Methodist church built in 1859 about 1 mile west of Ostrander. This church was later absorbed into the Methodist Episcopal church and in 1870 the church building was donated to to the Episcopals on the condition that the building was moved into Ostrander. It took a few years to make this happen. The building was moved about halfway then they ran out of funds so it sat in a field for two years. In 1874 it was finally moved to its final distination on North Street in Ostrander. Now it is known as the Ostrander United Methodist Church.
